Long Bohemian Tassel Necklace "Peacock"

This fabulous bohemian necklace features a tattered, recycled sari silk tassel, and Turquoise and Amethyst gemstones. Hours of work and lots of love went into the making of this one-of-a-kind necklace, from creating the design concept to hand knotting the gemstones.  

The tassel features strands of recycled sari silk (fair trade, imported from India) in gorgeous shades of blue, mauve and green. The tassel is tied together with brown suede leather and connected to a stunning keyhole-shaped brass drop, hand aged with a verdigris patina.

Blue/green Turquoise and Amethyst gemstones are knotted together on strong, durable nylon cord with intermittent antiqued brass beads. 

Total necklace length is 29" plus the 7.5" tassel (72 cm + 20 cm). Surprisingly lightweight, this long bohemian necklace weighs only 1.4 ounces (40 grams) Fits right over your head.
